After a long illness, our chairman Valentín de Madariaga y Oya, passed away on 15 November 2002 in Seville.
The three most important things in his life were his family, his passion for hunting and his quest for excellence in the business world.
His commitment to R&D in both stages of his professional career, first at Control Presupuestario, as founding chairman, and then at MP, as chairman, and the management development model and corporate culture that he put into practice instilled the concepts of quality, service and productivity in the team of people that today forms MP.

Our company must now move forward by continuing the project that he began with his offspring and by following his corporate model.
His spirit will live on in the many professionals at MP who knew him during his lifetime and also in the VALENTÍN DE MADARIAGA Y OYA Foundation soon to be created.
