On 7 July 2004, the first MP Corporation Annual Report was presented to the CEA (Andalusia Confederation of Businesses), and to the president of the employer’s organisation, Santiago Herrero.

During the ceremony, in addition to the report, details were presented of our present situation, in which our three divisions (Lifts; Engineering, Services and the Environment; Engineering and Auxiliary Industries) have now become a reality with 1,300 individuals and 122 million sales, clear backing of R+D, quality and industrial development based in Andalusia. In addition, our growth strategy for the period 2004-2008 of up to 300 million euros remains on course, with a huge growth in the area of Lifts, and increased presence within the Group for the other two sectors.

In addition to economic information, the Annual Report includes the first Sustainability report, drawn up in its entirety by the VMO Foundation and professionals from the University of Seville (following GRI methodology), and in accordance with which we are compelled to ensure respect and equilibrium in the future, not only with respect to financial information, but also to environmental information and corporate social responsibility.

I am sure that this first Annual Report will compel us even further to maintain a Service to our customers and a commitment to our environment.
