CHINA'98

The 3rd CHINA INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF ELEVATOR EQUIPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY was held at the Beijing Exhibition Centre from 11 to 14 November 1998.   MP was also present at the previous shows, Beijing ‘96 and Shanghai ‘97, as a demonstration of our interest in this promising market.   The next show will be held in Shanghai, in mid-June, 2000, according to the latest news from the China Elevator Association, which tries to combine and streamline the great number of local shows that are held in this country.   Most of the clients who attended were from China, but, in spite of the Asia crisis, clients from other neighbouring countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Japan, Bangladesh and Malaysia also visited our stand.   MP had a 63 m2 stand with our logo and corporate colours, which could be seen from all over the exhibition site.   The products presented were:   - Microbasic controller with 10 HP, 3VFMAC frequency converter, with extension AMB-2 and remote connection.   - Rescatamac/30 ARD   - PM/VF-810 Machine   - Reveco C2H 900 door operator   - Compac and Roller control stations in different display stands   - Safety components

TURKEY'99

The 6th monographic Turkish lift show, ASANSÖR ‘99, was held from 18 to 21 March, 1999. For the first time, it took place at a new exhibition site located on the outskirts of Istanbul.   This was the third time MP was present at this fair, which is clearly focused on the local market Middle East markets, with most of the visitors coming from Turkey, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt.   We had a 130 m2 stand, and our top products on display were:   - Microbasic controller with 3VFMAC frequency converter and its AMB-2 extension (quadruplex, 16 floors)   - PM 600 kg VVVF 1,6 m/s machine.   - Reveco C2H 1000 door operator.   - Compac and Roller control stations.   MP took the opportunity to introduce its new affiliate, MP TÜRKIYE.
