LEBANON'99

PROJECT LEBANON '99, the 5th international building equipment and materials show, was held in Beirut on 18-22 May. True to our policy of world-wide expansion, MP MACPUARSA once again took part in an international fair. The show was visited by nearly all the Lebanese companies in the lift sector, in addition to others from Syria, Jordan and Egypt.

EXPOTECNIA'99

MP MACPUARSA was one of 300 firms selected to show Spanish technology at this year's EXPOTECNIA '99 in Turkey, held in Istanbul in early June. EXPOTECNIA '99 was opened by H.R.H. The Prince of Asturias, Felipe de Borbón, and Turkey's President Demirel.   MP MACPUARSA exhibited the following items, among others:   REVECO: an automatic car door controlled by VVVF. MICROBASIC +3VFMAC+AMB2: Microprocessor controllers (Simplex to Quadruplex) with machine control by VVVF and operated by remote control. RESCATAMAC 30: Emergency unit for moving the lift car and opening the doors to rescue people trapped inside by a power failure. FONOMAC: Emergency telephone (no-hands) with direct communication via three pre-set numbers by pressing a single button in the car. Our stand was visited by the Minister of Labour and Industry and the Director General of Industry of the regional government of Andalusia who, together with the firm of Comercializadora de Productos Andaluces, backed Andalusia's presence at this technology fair that is so important for Spain.
