 In August, Gary Butler joined the company and will take charge
of running the UK operation under the wing of José María Compagni.
He comes from the largest UK distributor of lift equipment where
he was employed as Technical Manager.
He will put together a team of people to enable Macpuarsa to establish
it self properly in the UK. In the coming year they will open
a distribution centre and develop markets for all Mac products.(Bottom,
middle).
Olga Martínez joined MP at the same time. She is Spanish, although she was born and raised
in England and is therefore bilingual. She will be very helpful
in communicating with the factory and helping other members of
the branch improve their Spanish.(Bottom, right).

- More recently, in December, Gary Gilbertson joined MP UK and will be responsible for after-sales service. Gary also
has many years of experience in the lift industry working in service,
installation and testing.(Top, middle).

- Len and Veronica Maple are still with the company. At 69, Len
has a lifetime of experience in the industry. He will continue
to be a valued member of the company as his knowledge of the people
in the industry is enormous. However, the injection of this new
young blood should give him the opportunity to start enjoying
his retirement years. Veronica will continue working with the
UK company accounts.(Top and Bottom, left).

- José María is the mainstay for establishing companies in northern
Europe, and is much respected throughout the MP organisation. He will continue providing support to these areas.(Top,
right).
