Dear Friends,   I am addressing all of you together for the first time from MP Organisation, in the joy and hope that we can achieve the levels of quality, productivity and service demanded by the international markets in all three of our areas of business. First a few words of support to the two smaller areasCProductivity and the EnvironmentCto say that the success in Lifts, which was also small, came about thanks to the sacrifice and efforts of people working in a common direction. Keep up the good work and you can be sure that the people in the lift department are at your disposal for anything you want. These words are accompanied by a photo of the opening of our new state-of-the-art plant for making standard steel plate for lifts. New Plant

The new MP plant for producing standard steel plate for lifts was presented in Alcalá de Guadaira on 5 June at 12:00 p.m. Attending were the Minister of Employment and Technological Development and the Minister of Education from the Andalusian regional government, in addition to our president, Gonzalo de Madariaga. The new plant is built on a 26,500-m2 plot of land. It currently occupies 9,200 m2 and leaves 12,000 m2 available for future projects. The purpose of the new plant is to process steel plate for standard doors, cars and frames. I am sure this is a special occasion for all of us, since our company, MP, is becoming more firmly consolidated in all its production lines and means. We urge everyone in the lift sector and our supporters as well to attend the official inauguration of our new Seville facilities in February 2001.
