3VFMAC WITH WEIGHT CONTROL

The frequency converter 3VFMAC, significantly broadens its application possibilities thanks to the incorporation of a new feature in the lift: PASSENGERS’ WEIGHT READER directly through the frequency converter, permitting the OPTIMIZATION of time and comfort of service.

The two most relevant applications are:

HIGH EFFICIENCY MACHINES
High capacity machines, such as PLANETARY reducers or the recently launched high efficiency reducers recently launched on the market can be GOVERNED BY THE 3VFMAC CONVERTER. On starting the execution of a service, after opening the brake, there is NO oscillating movement of the flywheel: the application of the PAIR OFFSET guarantees a start with ZERO initial revolution speed. This oscillation effect, of little significance in traditional worm-crown machines, completely disappears.

"ALMOST" DIRECT ACCESS
Speed Regulation Applications with direct access control (total elimination of the landing approach span, before finalizing service) have traditionally demanded complicated and costly systems of installation in shaft.

With the 3VFMAC converter WITH WEIGHT CONTROL, using the simple and traditional methods of installation in the shaft (impulse and leveller), a service similar to direct access may be achieved.

UNIFORMITY of services allows the adjustment of reduced approach spans and if we add a system of landing approach with door pre-opening, the final result is similar to direct access control.

Additional requisites in relation to a traditional VVVF installation are minimal: the new VK2P weighing system should be used with type car-frame silent-block type sensors. This load weighing incorporates a RS-485 (two threads) very robust communication protocol permitting the transfer of information (weight in cabin) with the 3VFMAC frequency control.

PS-2000-A safety gears

MACPUARSA markets the new progressive safety gear that operates in both directions: PS-2000-A
Due to its functional characteristics, PS-2000-A safety gear is to be found in the medium-high product range, giving it a very competitive position on the market. Its most relevant features are:

MINIMAL GUIDE RAIL DETERIORATION
During the braking process, the mark produced by the PS-2000-A on the guide rails is minimal: approximately 10 mm. Its special design permits both actions at rated speed (both ascending and descending), without the need for subsequent substitution. Its incorporation of a mechanism that allows the roller to return to its equilibrium position once it has accomplished its function, means that the marks left on the guides are minimal. This allows rigorous attention to be paid to the test protocol established in EN 81 annex D, which expressly states that tests in descent should be carried out with 125% nominal weight at rated speed or less and in ascent with the car empty at rated speed or above before being put into service (section D.2, points j and n).

AUTO POSITIONING
Once the +PS-2000-A frame assembly has been installed in the shaft and following a simple operation, the safety gears position themselves automatically in the optimum position avoiding unnecessary friction on the guide rails. This method does not require the use of gauges. During the wedging process, this same mechanism re-positions itself efficiently so that the braking is carried out correctly without forcing the frame or the slides. Even long term wear of the slides will not produce undesired wedging, as the roller, under normal working conditions remains totally hidden.

YEARS OF RELIABILITY
Th
e minimal damage caused by the safety gear when wedging the guide rail, frame and slides, combined with the outstanding repetition performance of the braking capacity, guarantees reliable and regular operation for years. With correct braking being possible for more than 25 wedging tests, annual tests can be carried out at rated speed, for the entire life of the installation.
