On Monday 26 February 2007, our President, Gonzalo de Madariaga, acting on behalf of the MP Group, was awarded the INNOVATIVE COMPANY prize by Andalucía Económica. This award is given to companies or groups of companies who distinguish themselves as a result of their innovativeness and for developing pioneering programmes in terms of production and the supply and marketing of their products.

The event was held in Bodegas Gonzales Byass in Jerez and was presided over by Alfonso Castilla (President of Andalucía Económica’s Board of Directors), Pilar Sánchez Muñoz (Mayor of Jerez), Santiago Herrero, President of the CEA (Andalusian Confederation of Business people), Concepción Gutierrez (Regional Minister of Public Works), Sergio Moreno (Regional Minister of Tourism) and Ignacio Guzmán (Director of Caja San Fernando Foundation for socioeconomic development in Andalusia).
