The Andalusian Employment Service (SAE) of the Junta de Andalucía has chosen MP Systems to carry out the supply, deployment and start up of the IT infrastructure support for the corporate services of its regional offices network (Territorial Employment and Local and Technological Development Units, UTEDLT).

1.2 million euros will be invested in equipment and services which are included within the system’s implementation. This project will involve the implementation of the Active Directory Service and other network services in both the central services of the SAE and the various UTEDLT offices with the aim of centralising the network’s administration.

Each UTEDLT office will act as an organisational unit or sub-domain of a main domain, and will be located in the SAE headquarters. The group of servers which provide the directory, security, updating services etc, will be housed in these headquarters. Furthermore, there will be an office for the testing of the future services to be incorporated in the network.

Throughout the first half of 2007, the installation and deployment works will be carried out in order to divide the services into hierarchical levels by the end of June 2007. An multi-disciplinary team will be on-hand at all times to deal with the various needs of the project.
