Private Communications System for the Málaga City Council Fire Brigade

MP Telecommunications has provided the Malaga City Council with a Private Communications System for the fire brigade and has carried out the configuration of the new Private Communications System network, increasing the channels available to ensure that the service required can be provided.

The project involved the supply of 158 terminals, which are configured in 10 channels of different frequencies.

This project is included in the business line of Private Communications Systems for Emergency Services

This means that all of the metropolitan area of Malaga can safely and effectively be covered, including nearby towns. The incorporation of these new coverage areas within the fire brigade network has required the reconfiguration of the communications park and an optimisation of the use of radio resources.

This project is included in the open business line of Private Communications Systems for Emergency Services, in which MP Telecommunications has carried out numerous projects both at a local and regional level. It stands out from our competitors in the planning and optimisation of resources for these types of communications.

The Private Communications business line establishes a communications system for the emergency services, which requires high availability and security. MP Telecommunications implements digital or analogue systems, also offering a communications system for the development of applications for mobility management of the emergency services such as:

  • Locating the members of the various services.
  • Systems for monitoring units and deciding the best route to take.
  • Access to remote databases (control of stolen vehicles, following individuals, etc).
  • Remote management of reports, fines, etc.

The development of value-added applications in communications systems constitutes a critical factor. Within this context and the R&D expectations, the Telecommunications area is developing and implementing a testing system based on a real environment in the MP headquarters in Seville.
