Andalusian foundations create the “Cooperation and Codevelopment” group

On 25 January 2007, the Andalusian foundations association, at the Valentín de Madariaga-MP Foundation’s headquarters, created the Working Group “Cooperation and Co-Development” establishing a working line together with all the foundations belonging to this sector. Various projects were proposed during the meeting and several possibilities were considered for establishing a programme for carrying out and implementing objectives.

The foundations present at the meeting in the United States Pavilion and which make up the group were: Fundación Andaluza Fondo de Formación y Empleo, Fundación Andaluza de Servicios Sociales, Asistencial para la Formación, Investigación y Estudio–AFIES, Cajasur, Cultural y Tecnológica para la Modernización de Andalucía, DeSevilla, Emet Arco Iris, Fundación para el Desarrollo Sostenible de Doñana–Doñana 21, Fundación por el Progreso de Andalucía, Universidad Andaluza Inca Garcilaso and Valentín de Madariaga-MP. It was agreed that our Foundation would coordinate this Group’s work.

In this way, all of the foundations mentioned have used the Working Groups to their favour; an initiative undertaken by the Andalusian Foundations’ Association used to channel both resources and efforts made by the various Andalusian foundations in the various sectors in which the activities are carried out.
