MP Systems’ Public Administration Area was awarded the contract by public tender for the project of developing software for Local Government.

The aim of the project is to design, develop and implement an Integral Management System for a Business Centre in the Mancomunidad de Municipios del Bajo Guadalquivir (Lower Guadalquivir River District). This Organisation includes 11 municipalities from the provinces of Seville and Cadiz, and it has begun the construction of a Business Centre, which will provide services to businesses located within these municipalities.

MP Systems will implement the management application for the resources which the Business Centre is providing to local businessmen

The following are just some of the services offered by the Business Centre: access to training courses, meeting or presentation rooms and IT Systems among others. MP Systems will be responsible for developing an application to manage these resources. This will be based on a Liferay web portal and content management system and will enable the creation of public and private web pages to manage the resources on behalf of the benefiting companies. The system will also manage a series of services offered by the Business Centre though this application.

This project is based on using the latest technologies for developing software applications, and makes use of components for the Electronic Administration of the Junta de Andalucía (Andalusian Regional Government).

The application will also be available to the different local governments after the project has been completed, since it will be included in the Junta de Andalucía’s software repository.
