The MP Industrial Corporation has increased its technological resources by over 25% during the last year. It now has 490 employees with a technical qualification, which is more than 36% of the total MP workforce.

The four main business lines (LIFTS, ENGINEERING, SERVICES AND THE ENVIRONMENT, TRANSMISSIONS AND SUPPLIER INDUSTRY, AND SYSTEMS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS) firmly support the development of the business based on solid and efficient technology, thus resulting in a significant increase in technical human resources.

Our Industrial Corporation continues to CONSOLIDATE ITS TECHNOLOGICAL BASES. It is already 15 years since we set out on this path with a modest R&D team and yet the strategic approach remains just as strong.

ENGINEERS, as nuclei for Specialisation within Sectors and the R&D areas as centres for Technological Specialisation, act as TOOLS for the development of different business lines. The very high level of specialisation in the Sector-Technology tandem leads to very high levels of COMPETITIVENESS and RAPID response to markets.

Our RENEWABLE ENERGIES division is strengthening its position within the SOLAR (photovoltaic and thermal) and BIOMASS sectors, with the recent creation of MP BIOMASS in the latter case, in firm support of its position as an Energy Agent in public Buildings and Installations. For this purpose, the ENGINEERING areas have equipped these lines with technical solutions that provide net profits for the final customer and establish MP within the market, based on confidence and competitiveness.

The R&D areas apply their experience to different technologies, which have been developed within the LIFTS sector, to provide VALUE consisting of INDUSTRIALISING SOLUTIONS. There is a large active Portfolio for projects, and CAF’s confidence in MP for the manufacturing of Transfer cases for trains in different projects, some international, is to be noted. In brief, the PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR KIT will provide the Renewable Energies market with a new and revolutionary solution for a fast, integrated and competitive mechanism for competing with Photovoltaic Plants.

The MP Industrial Coporation is currently preparing its Strategic Plan for R&D. As part of the GENERAL STRATEGIC PLAN OF THE CORPORATION, we hope to achieve even greater planning efficiency, with forecasting for the medium and long term, for the generation of VALUE in the business through technological INNOVATION.
