MP’s Elevation Division currently exports 62% of its total sales, with its main destination being the European Union.
The Division is therefore facing extremely strong international competition, and is consequently less exposed to the challenges of competition within the Spanish economy as a whole, as MP’s own performance capacities exceed the national economic and regulatory framework, and the company is able to compete on a European and international level.
However, at MP, we need an extremely flexible framework that allows us to come up with fast, efficient responses to the challenges of the global market, both in terms of productivity and competitiveness.
We understand that in order to remain competitive and productive, we must develop and boost our commercial network through an extremely demanding and active partnership programme that functions in complete harmony with the development of the network itself and that at the same time promotes sustainable industrial development.

MP Partnership Programme.
This is an initiative whereby agreements are set up between MP and SMEs with a strong local presence which cater well to the specific needs of their country, region or province. We currently have over forty different agreements in place, each with its own partnership programme ( or Co-operation Agreement). Our aim is to increase this to over 120 in the next five years. These programmes are set up around the MP Group, so that we help the market to grow together.
The agreements are mutually beneficial.
There is a transfer of knowledge from MP to the SMEs, and the agreements open the way for MP to enter these more remote and/or specialist markets.
Through this programme, the SMEs’ structures feed off the structure of MP, providing these businesses with access to the kind of technology, regulatory updates and latest management systems to be expected of a multinational company, but with the benefit of a large degree of flexibility and adaptability to local needs.
The following requirements must be met by those wishing to join the MP Partnership Programme:
Experience in the installation and maintenance sector is required, supported by strong references from your most important clients in terms of volume of business and of trust.
Commercial success and a volume of business that has led to recognition in your area of influence.
Experience with MP’s products and with technical and order processing tools.
Prepared to pay the annual fee, in accordance with the services agreed and provided.
Willingness to draw up annual contracts, with a termination clause for cases in which the basic objectives are not met.
As a complementary initiative, MP is at the same time developing its own distribution network of forty branches, half of which are international, to complement our partners’ areas of influence, and in most cases to provide them with the commercial and technical coverage necessary for the agreements to progress satisfactorily.
The objective set for MP’s own network is for it to grow to eighty branches over the next five years, absorbing seventy per cent of manufacturing, and with the branches grouped into ten major areas.
These branches will use MP’s own management system and, for them, the growth model is more aggressive than that of the partners, giving them priority over any large and special projects contracted.

Industrial Development.
Our Industrial Area’s mission is to provide solutions with competitive products in terms of cost and delivery time to clients anywhere in the world. In order to meet the demands of our commercial network and of our commercial partners, we are developing a new manufacturing line for our Complete integrated lift (ACIN) that will allow us to increase our capacity by 60% in just five years. This new advancement in the ACIN philosophy (integrating the installation and maintenance phases right from the design stage) has resulted in an efficient lift that is competitive in terms of features, cost and respect for the environment.
- The new manufacturing line applies innovative engineering and process control methods that support the agreements and quality arranged with our suppliers, incentivise and reinforce a culture of quality at every level, engaging employees in a process of continual improvement, safety and respect for the environment, and allowing for a more efficient logistics of the lift in any part of the world.
- We also plan to consolidate our network of factories in Spain, in order to ensure that we can meet the demands of the European market and their area of influence. At the same time, we shall continue with our strategy of placing manufacturing and logistical centres in emerging markets that can adapt the product and provide services at a local level.
In addition to creating a new manufacturing line, we shall preserve the structures needed to maintain the flexibility that we have gained over the years, offering house brand solutions to our clients, with a full range of products adapted to the demands of different markets, both on a national and international level, and custom-designed solutions including preliminary studies, preliminary technical support and monitoring of the installation and first use of the product.
We are aware of the significant challenge that lies ahead of us, and we know we cannot forget that it would not be possible to develop or implement our ambitious strategic plan without the commitment of all those involved: MP staff, clients, suppliers, shareholders and other stakeholders, who have supported us day after day, and in many cases have encouraged or advised us. For us, “ENJOYING OUR WORK” is an important motivating factor for our team, and also for all of our partners.
