SPORTS INFRASTRUCTURE
CUEVAS DE ALMANZORA SPORTS COMPLEX
Location: Cuevas de Almanzora, Almeria
The new sports facilities in the municipality required an investment of 1,502,530 euros. The pool is located on a 4,007 m2 plot opposite the municipal district of La Portilla and has a constructed surface area of 2,614 metres. The complex includes a 25 x 12.50 metre pool and another measuring 12.50 x 5 metres. It also has changing rooms, a gym, a sickbay and storage rooms. This is a modern sports facility that was in great demand among the locals.
MORÓN SPORTS COMPLEX
Location: Morón de la Frontera, Seville
This project included the development of a building constructed over two floors. The 25 x12.50 metre multi-purpose pool is situated on the ground floor, as are the 12.50x6 metre training pool, male and female changing rooms, medical supplies and the offices and spaces required for a complex of such characteristics. The equipment required for the complex operations has been located in the basement. Volumetrics played an important role in the Morón sports complex: spaces on the front of the building have been designed to achieve the greatest level of user comfort, making the best use of light and natural ventilation.

INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION
EL PINO MINI INDUSTRIAL ESTATE
Location: Seville
The project, which has been developed by VTM Casagrande S.L, is located in EL Pino Industrial Estate in the city of Seville. The architects Jose Luis Vargas Diaz and Araceli Sánchez León were in charge of drafting the Modified Basic Project and Execution Project for the construction of a small industrial estate, made up of 16 adjoining warehouses, which are structurally linked. The project also included the construction of a building to be used for offices, exhibitions or sale.
The warehouses have a mezzanine area, which is accessed via a staircase. The rest of the building can be viewed from the mezzanine and therefore may be used as offices or for controlling activity within the warehouse. The foundations between the walls, which are shared by both warehouses, are divided by them both. The structure of these warehouses is based on metal frames and foundations supported on isolated footings secured between one another by bands. The project also includes the possibility of constructing electrical, plumbing and sanitation installations in the warehouses. It therefore includes the dimensions for connections required for this purpose, as well as the installation of a rainwater drainage system.
With respect to the building for commercial and administrative use, which will be an independent structure, a building has been constructed with reinforced concrete pillars and slabs, using pre-fabricated parts.
The buildings have been constructed so that they share as many common elements as possible: internal public passages, parking and internal installation networks, etc.
