The Transmissions Area of the Transmissions and Supplier Industry Division has launched a huge marketing initiative in the hope of achieving the following objectives:
- Increase manufacturing volumes: this will help us improve our manufacturing costs by reducing the influence of fixed costs on the cost per piece.
- Increase the number of clients: in the hope of minimising the potential risk of depending on a limited number of clients.
In terms of the product, emphasis is being placed on products with high added value and high quality requirements, in the hope of achieving the most integral manufacture possible for these. The reason for this is that this type of production requires us to maintain a high level of technology, which enables us to compete with low cost countries (LCC) industries.
For this purpose, the section is focusing on the following:
- Assembling complete transmissions
- Assembling subsets
- Manufacturing synchronisms
- Manufacturing high quality gears
Once the products had been established, we had to look at the sectors where we could find clients most suited to our specifications. These are as follows:
- Lifts
- Automotive sector
- Renewable Energies
- Rail
- Sea
- Agricultural Vehicles
- Industrial Vehicles

In terms of geography, the greatest efforts are being made in Europe, where there is a large market for our products; however, we do not rule out other geographical areas. We are currently focusing on the following areas: Germany, Sweden and Italy, as well as the countries in which we already have operations: Spain, Hungary and Denmark.
In light of the above, we have contacted new companies (to collaborate with them), companies for whom we have worked in the past (to rebuild our relationship) and companies whom we already supply (to obtain greater volumes or pieces of greater added value). Among the companies, the following are to be noted: Aabenraa (Denmark), Ausa, CAF (Spain), Comesa (Spain), John Deere Ibérica (Spain), John Deere Mannheim (Germany), John Deere Engine Works (United States), Kessler (Germany), NZWL (Germany), Santana (Spain), Sole Diesel (Spain), Volvo Powertrain (Sweden), ZF Friedichshafen (Germany), ZF Hurth Marine (Italy), ZF Hungarya (Hungary) and the ZF Group (Germany).
