MP Mechanical Components Factory in Seville was awarded the TS certification (UNE-ISO/TS 16949:2002) for its Transmissions Area from the Certification body TÜV SÜD in July. This standard is specifically for the automotive industry and is mainly characterised by a Quality Management System based on the ISO 9001:2000 standard, with specific requirements for mass production and spare parts for the automotive industry. The main objective of these requirements is to prevent defects and minimise variation and waste throughout the supply chain (ZERO DEFECTS).

The reason why the Company Management opted for this management tool is because we understand that the quality of our products is a key factor in our position and prestige within the international market. This tool provides us with significant efficiency in continuing and checking improvements in processes, procedures and products, deliveries within schedule, implementation and immediate effectiveness of corrective actions, communication at all levels, as well as processes that may be adjusted to new projects or changes to existing ones in the future.
