The Special Machinery Department has delivered a new test station as part of its ongoing collaboration with the main manufacturers of car components.
The station is used to perform final tests of remote controls. The test equipment is responsible for analysing the signal given by the control being tested, as well as a series of parameters to guarantee its correct operation. The tests are carried out inside a semi-anechoic room to avoid possible external interference. The elements are loaded and unloaded manually and it is possible to work with two pieces simultaneously, using two test bays. Controls that do not pass the strict final tests are automatically sent to a reject container without any intervention from the operator.

The equipment has been designed for flexibility, to allow rapid change of the model to be tested. Both the upper and lower tools can be disassembled and are equipped with quick connectors for electrical signals and pneumatic control. It is therefore possible to work with different models and the equipment may be quickly adjusted to future ones.
Station to insert motors on printed circuit board
A turnkey piece of equipment has recently been delivered and put into operation for the Romanian car components industry.
This consists of a station to insert motors, which move the control panel indicators, onto a printed circuit board. In order to perform the assembly, the motors are carefully secured to the board and the insertion levels are checked to ensure that they are correct.
By taking on this project, MP Productivity has begun to work directly with the local headquarters of important component manufacturers which are extending or transferring their activity to emerging countries.
