Uralita satisfied with the IPA service.

The PVC pipe manufacturing plant, which URALITA SISTEMAS DE TUBERIAS has in Antequera, implemented the full version of the IPA (Integration of Auxiliary Products) service in June 2005.

In follow-up meetings with the managers of the aforementioned factory, which were held two years later, we were informed of their SATISFACTION with the service operation and the improvements achieved, as well as with the fact that we have meet the goals established in the contract.

The CLIENT has detailed information on the warehouse consumption (when, who and for what), ALWAYS has the materials available to respond quickly to breakdowns, does not have to devote time to manage the warehouse (needs, stocks, monitoring, suppliers,…) and has achieved a significant reduction in the purchase price of materials.

Thanks to the IPA service, the factory materials are managed promptly, the warehouse is organised, with procedures having been implemented and with systems for locating products quickly, thus minimising maintenance response time in the case of a breakdown.

The aforementioned contract provides a solution to managing the purchase and supply of materials belonging to the following groups:

Fluids
PPES
Clothing
Industrial Hardware
Hydraulic Material
Mechanical Material
Electric Material
Cuting Tools
Hand Tools
Safety
Chemical Products
Specific Spare Parts For Machines

It includes the standard components of our service model:

On-line connection with MP database
PC, bar code printer
M2M mangement system
Wireless reader
IP surveillance and security camera
Warehouse access control

The new warehouse was constructed on a 40 m2 space provided by URALITA, alongside the production line requiring MAINTENANCE.

Thanks to the IPA service, the factory materials are managed promptly.

Following the success of the pilot scheme developed in Antequera, the system has been introduced to other factories and maintenance managers in Spain, during internal meetings of the URALITA group, as a solution to the needs and problems experienced by this section.

As a result of hard and competent work and the consolidation of this service model as a solution to a general need within the industry, we have created new projects regarding the implementation of the system in other factories belonging to the URALITA group.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the aforementioned factory management for their confidence and collaboration, in particular the Head of Maintenance, Mr Juan Cano.
