Judges and Magistrates Visit the MP Industrial Corporation.

In keeping with the Agreement signed with the Consejo General del Poder Judicial, (General Council of the Judiciary), the Foundation has just completed their first further education programme for judges and magistrates. This programme, called “Visits of Judges and Magistrates to the Corporación Industrial MP” was designed to introduce the realities an industrial group such as the Corporación Industrial MP face in their daily operations with respect to environmental issues and current legislation. With this in mind, an ambitious programme was launched in which various experts, all from the Corporación Industrial MP, explained to the judges and magistrates the broad range of issues that crop up on a daily basis in the various different companies making up the group. A wide variety of subjects such as “Vibro-Acoustics”, “Electromagnetic Compatibility”, “Antennas and Health”, “Water Management” and “Renewable Energy Management”, amongst others were dealt with. Juan Carlos Campo - member of the General Council of the Judiciary, Gonzalo de Madariaga - Chairman of the Foundation and of the Corporación Industrial MP, and Carmen Calleja - Vice Chairwoman of the Foundation were in charge of the opening event.

The Foundation was informed by the General Council of the Judiciary of the magnificent impression made by both the speakers and the company image on the judges and magistrates. The image is that of a company respectful, supportive and serious about the environment, and which makes a great effort to offer products and services that go beyond strict compliance with environmental protection regulations.

The Foundation would like to express its heartfelt thanks to all the company’s professionals for their effort and hard work, a true reflection of the great company to which they belong.

This further education programme and other future activities have already been included in the 2008 programme being prepared by the General Council of the Judiciary for the training of judges and magistrates throughout the whole of Spain.
