The 15th February saw the official
inauguration of the last of the
refurbishment work of the club
headquar ters of the “Real Círculo
de Labradores” in Seville, which is located
between Sierpes and Pedro Caravaca
streets in Seville’s historic centre.
MP has installed in the club an MP1305H,
hydraulic lift with 2 stops and a capacity of
1000 Kg, which facilitates access to the
club’s restaurant located on the first floor
of the building.
Both in terms of the design and
manufacture, we have taken
scrupulous care to ensure that all
the decorative details of the lift fit
in with its surroundings properly.
This building is ver y representative in
Seville. For a great many years, it was
an Augustinian convent dedicated to St.
Acacius which gave Pedro Caravaca Street
its current name.

In 1693 and until 1703 it was also the
temporar y headquar ters of the Brotherhood
of Nuestro Padre Jesús del Gran Poder. It
later became the Fine Ar ts Academy, before
becoming a post office and being used for
various different public ser vices, and was
finally purchased by the social club in
1951.
Under the direction of architect José
María Benjumea, the house was
modified with a tempered neo-Baroque
style, with the façades being the most
representative part of the alterations
made.
Both in terms of the design and
manufacture, we have taken scrupulous
care to ensure that all the decorative
details of the lift fit in with its surroundings
properly, and the social club’s coat of arms
engraved on the floor, rustproof gold floor
buttons, and the colour of the doors are
just a few examples of these details.
Once again MP has proven that it adapts
its lifts to the needs of each building. Enrique Fuentes
