TERMINALES DEL SUDESTE (TDS),
a majority-owned subsidiary of
Dragados Servicios Portuarios y
Logísticos, which belongs to the
ACS group, has contracted our integral IPA
(Integration of Auxiliary Products) service
for managing the purchase and supply
of auxiliary products for its maintenance
warehouse.
TDS is a concessionary in the multi-purpose
terminal for loading and unloading in the port
of Malaga, and it has a volume of container
movement (TEUs) of over 500,000 per year.
The initial duration of the contract is for
3 years and one person will be employed
to work in the company’s installations
to manage the warehouse. The contract
includes the following groups of auxiliary

TDS is currently constructing new facilities
for central offices, access to the terminal
and maintenance workshops, which as can
be seen in the photo, includes an area for the
new warehouse for materials to be developed
from scratch by MP, drawing on the company’s
experience in this type of project.

The implementation plan, which it is anticipated will be carried out this year, is expected to begin in March 2008.

As a result of this contract and previous
projects, IPA is now one of the strategic
activities of the Supplier Industry for
establishing business relationships with
potential new clients for providing a solution
to a general need within the industry, and
has become the per fect complement to our
INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE service (we call
it INTEGRAL INDUSTRIAL SERVICE).
We would like to take this opportunity to
thank the management of TDS for placing its
trust in MP, and especially for the assistance
from Mr. Jorge Martín (Technical Director),
and we hope to meet the objectives set,
thereby ensuring the satisfaction of TDS,
so that we may provide IPA services in
other terminals of the DRAGADOS group in
Spain.
