The Andalusian business
association for quality in the
agri-food sector, Landaluz, and
MP Systems, the Information
and Communication Technology Division
of Corporación Industrial MP, have
signed an agreement for MP Systems
to provide members of Landaluz with a
comprehensive consulting ser vice for
business management ICT solutions
adapted specifically to the needs of the
Andalusian agro-industr y.
This initiative will give Andalusian agrifood
companies access to innovative IT
applications, enabling them to improve
per formance and optimise their ever yday
management processes, and will facilitate
access from Andalusia to large-scale
distribution markets, both on a national
and international level.
MP Systems’ MIC 2000 ERP+ software will
provide Landaluz members with tools for
electronic data interchange (EDI), e-mail,
templates for negotiations with clients,
logistics, etc. MP Systems is the leading
company in the sector thanks to its
innovative processes and solutions, which
guarantee its clients the tools necessar y
for them to reach their objectives.
The Landaluz purchasing network,
“Landaluz Central de Compras y Ser vicios,
S.A.”, 49% of which is held by the public
enterprise DAP (for the development of
the fishing and agricultural sectors) and
51% by Landaluz itself, was created in
2003 with the aim of of fering Andalusian
agri-food companies which are members
of the Landaluz association preferential
agreements with
suppliers, thereby
reducing their costs.

The Landaluz
purchasing network
currently has around
40 agreements
signed with first-rate
suppliers, acting as
an intermediar y for
purchases for a value
of 7 million euros, and
providing an average
saving for member
companies of 12%.
Landaluz currently
brings together 140 companies from the
Andalusian agri-food sector, with a total
turnover reaching 5 billion euros, which
represents approximately 37% of the total
for the sector.
MP Systems will provide Landaluz
members with a comprehensive
consulting service for ICT business
management solutions.
