MP Systems’ division for Public Authorities has developed a Virtual Incubator of Companies platform for the “Bajo Guadalquivir” Municipality Commonwealth. The aim of the project is to design, develop and launch a support system for starting up new businesses which, in integration with the Centro de Empresas Comarcal (regional business centre), will provide consulting services and resources to those wishing to start up a new business. Among other services, the system will include a “Diagnoser” for business projects, a tool for designing business plans and a variety of resources for seeking opportunities and business collaboration.

The aim of the project is to design, develop and launch a support system for starting up new businesses.

The “Bajo Guadalquivir” Municipality Commonwealth includes 11 municipalities of the provinces of Seville and Cadiz, and with this project seeks to take advantage of new technologies as a support tool for defining and launching business projects. The platform used by MP Systems to produce the system, which is based on a web portal and the content manager Liferay, uses Free Software tools only, in accordance with the guidelines established by the Commonwealth itself and by the regional authorities with regard to software development for local authorities.

The execution of this project, which is cofunded by the European Union via the Equal initiative, further consolidates MP Systems’ position as a global provider of solutions to local authorities.
