Expo Elevador Brasil is one of the most important Lift trade fairs in South America, and is very well attended. It is held every two years. On this occasion, more than 50 exhibiting companies (40 % international), were present, offering both complete lifts and components for lifts, in the 5,000 sq. m. of exhibition space.

MP participated in this trade fair as part of its strategy of targeting this market’s great economic potential, and established a large number of important contacts for future commercial agreements.

Brasil, with its population of 185 million, is currently experiencing considerable expansion in the financial and urban development spheres. One clear indication of this is that more than 7.000 lifts were installed in 2007. The main centres of these great financial and economic developments are the large cities and major tourist areas - Sao Paulo, Río de Janeiro, Salvador de Bahía, Belo Horizonte, Fortaleza and Brasilia.
