On the 19th of June, the Governing Committee of the Seville College of Building Administrators headed by its President, Rafael del Olmo, visited our headquarters on La Cartuja Island.

The first part of the visit was to our R+D+i installations, where we were able to demonstrate our considerable technological capacity.

The Electro-magnetic Compatibility (EMC) laboratory has advanced resources for testing, including a semi-anechoic chamber, instrumentation for measuring emissions and electro-magnetic simulators for evaluating the degree to which a design is interference-free. We should draw special attention to the laboratory’s acoustic chamber, which is equipped with instrumentation to determine the vibro-acoustic characteristics of designs, and evaluate them at a psychoacoustic level and determine their noise signature.

These R+D+i resources amount to 2.8 % of our turnover, and mean that we can launch new products and improve the features and competitiveness of our current product range.

This visit was followed by a presentation of Complete Lift Solutions for Existing Buildings in our corporate headquarters. The presentation covered the range of solutions offered by MP in terms of lift location, noise levels and regulatory considerations, and also our complete maintenance solutions.
