PRODUCT

Standardisation is an ambitious objective, but once achieved it results in TOTAL QUALITY, optimised delivery times and processes and automated Sales Tools. This is a difficult task given the range of products that MP offers its clients.

The MPGO! lift unifies the present  SCM lift configurations for  6 and 8 persons into a single configuration which is highly competitive in terms of features, technology and shaft size.

The MPGO! is a machine room-less lift which can be installed in a narrow shaft which need be only 1,550mm wide  (for 450-480Kg/ 6 persons) and 1,650mm wide (for 600-630Kg/ 8 persons). It can be installed with door widths of 800mm or 900mm, and thus complies with regulatory requirements on eliminating architectural barriers.

The principal characteristics of the MPGO! lift are 2:1 suspension and traction provided by the Gearless machine. As a result, the lift is more efficient and environmentally friendly. Thanks to the main technical characteristics, this lift has greater mechanical efficiency. The installation requires less power and consumes less energy. It also provides improved comfort, since this configuration reduces vertical vibrations when the lift is in use.

Steel cable is used for the traction. This product has been validated, and has traditionally been used in the sector, so its performance is well-known and maintenance is easy.

Self-Supporting System: This provides total independence from the shaft and its finish. Additionally, MPGO! has been launched with a new  Assembly Tool Kit, which includes a machine lifting system designed to reduce installation times. This is in line with our ACIN, or FULLY INTEGRATED LIFT product philosophy.

Following through on the idea that MPGO! should be more than just a product, a series of tools have been created to make the salesperson’s task simpler by providing the design plans directly from the data entry process (See HELPMATE 14 article in this edition). This will allow our clients to immediately create plans showing all the necessary construction requirements. This will undoubtedly result in a speedier reply to a builder’s request and also mean that an MPGO! lift will be delivered within the optimised time of six weeks. The aim is to reduce this to five weeks during the first year.

MPGO! incorporates new MP-manufactured components (see MaGO Machine; REVECO Go! in this edition).

The MPGO! Adapt series will comply with the new EN 81-21:2006 norm on New Lifts in Existing Buildings once this comes into force in 2009.

NEW CONFIGURATION IN RESPONSE TO THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR’S REQUIREMENTS:

As a consequence of the recession in the new-build sector, MP is also launching an electrical SCM configuration aimed at reducing costs.

This SCM configuration extends and compliments the electrical SCM range with a Non-Self-Supporting (NOA) version. This will have a machine with a speed reducer and will allow a builder to install a lift while providing a significant reduction in the cost of the shaft, provided the size limitations are not too demanding.
