ENGINEERING AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
Engineering and Environmental Services exports Bio-distillation and MBR technology to Eastern European countries.

The Department of Engineering and Environmental Services has a clear strategic objective, to position itself in the emerging markets of Eastern Europe. To this end, the Department has signed several partnership and distribution agreements for its high tech MBFE and Bio-distillation products, for water and waste management.

Signing the partnership agreement between  MP and CZ BIJO

MBFE is based on the principle of a biological reactor with membranes which converts the output waster into a disinfected asset that can be used directly for irrigation, cleaning and production processes. Bio-distillation is a high performance product to remove high contamination levels of solids, DQO, metals, ammonium, conductivity and salts, applicable to the treatments of leachates and other industrial contaminants.

At the start of 2007, the Department started to partner with the Polish company AK NOVA, which specialises in projects related to waste management. To date, the technologies have already been pencilled in for several public tenders for waste treatment plants co-financed by the European Union. Work on the first projects is expected to start in 2009.

During 2008, a partnership agreement has been signed with the CZ BIJO company for the markets of the Czech Republic and Slovenia. CZ BIJO has an important department of waste management project engineering with central offices in Prague. The first joint MP and CZ BIJP projects are planned to start in  2009.

With this strategy of implementing our technologies in the international market of Eastern Europe, the Engineering and Environmental Services Department intends to increase its annual turnover by up to 50%

The sales activity is based on providing our partners with technical and commercial support, and also publicising the technologies and the MP make in conferences, trade fairs, publications and collaborations with universities.

Before the end of 2008, we plan to extend the environmental engineering activity to additional countries in Eastern Europe, such Romania and Bulgaria.

With this strategy of implementing our technologies in the international market of Eastern Europe, the Engineering and Environmental Services Department intends to increase its annual turnover by up to 50% Both the diversification in markets, and the publicising of the MP make in the international environmental sector, are the result of the global growth strategy laid down for all the activities of the Corporación Industrial MP.
