In the ITIL model, it is considered that the IT service is provided based on an infrastructure made up of configuration items (CI) which include hardware, software, documentation, etc. The complete inventory of configuration items is collected together in a database called the CMDB (Configuration Management Data Base).

AUDITING
This includes the evaluation of both the processes of ITC service provision and the support of these services from the point of view of how closely they mirror the best practices in the Management of ITC services represented by ITIL.
CONSULTANCY
The end product of this consultancy is to provide the Client with a set of specific actions for setting up an ITC Services Management system in accordance with ITIL best practice. This Consultancy follows a homogenous schema: a study of the current situation, establishing what the desirable situation would be, and defining a plan of action for making the transition from the present situation to the desirable situation.

IMPLEMENTATION
This is the setting up of the Client’s ITC Services in accordance with ITIL good practice. The activities required for this implementation include all the stages from providing the hardware/software up to and including training the Client. An important intermediate stage is the integration of the Corporate IT Systems in order for ITC Services to be correctly managed.
HARDWARE
This is the supplying of any hardware item or communications capability required to set up the ITC Services Management in accordance with the ITIL best practice: servers, storage, firewalls, etc.
SOFTWARE
This involves supplying and setting the parameters for the appropriate software applications for supporting the ITC Services Management activities in accordance with ITIL.
