In August, MP Sistemas signed an agreement with Supersol to expand the maintenance services it has been providing. The contract signed in April 2007 covered the repair and maintenance of 100% of the POS terminals, servers and peripheral devices in its supermarkets. The new agreement includes these same services and more.

All Supersol’s supermarkets (approximately 1,300 in number), both on mainland Spain and in the Canary Islands, will receive on-site support from our technicians when any breakdown, damage or defect arises in the day-to-day running of these retail outlets.

It is also important to emphasise that our company and Supersol operate in the same geographical areas. That is to say, an essential consideration in the signing of this new agreement has been the fact that MP Sistemas has offices in Lanzarote, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Madrid, Cadiz, Malaga and Seville, which is where Supersol has its supermarkets.

To increase the range of services offered and provide an appropriate standard of maintenance necessary for this operation, MP Sistemas has established a new microelectronic laboratory and has assembled a highly qualified and certified team with responsibility for the success of the new maintenance service.

We consider that closing this deal is further proof of our determination to offer our clients a wide and diversified range of services.
