The MP Corporation Chair is one of the sponsors of the Official Master in Total Building Safety, which is taught in Seville University’s School of Master Builders. This is the only official Master currently available through the University of Seville. It is a two-year course and is given by both teachers from the School of Master Builders and several widely-recognised experts on the subject.
           
Management, together with Health and Safety at Work are two of the areas in which a Master Builder has responsibility. However, the basic knowledge acquired through the curricula which are followed to obtain a Master Builder’s degree do not seem sufficient to create specialised professionals who can, on the one hand, carry out rigorous research in this area, and on the other hand, meet the ever-more-frequent needs of company managers working in the building and construction industry. This Official Master has therefore been created, as a second-level degree, with the aim of improving specific competencies in these professional areas, both for the present Master Builder and for a future Buildings Engineer.

This is the only official Master currently available through the University of Seville.

The MP Corporation Chair will participate in the teaching of courses on management. The Chair’s teachers will present a module in this Master, on Institutional Engineering, the Management System developed by Valentín de Madariaga y Oya. Those responsible for creating this Master’s degree consider this system, (which was developed by an Industrial Engineer and applied to management of Industry in general), is a highly appropriate component of their students’ training.
