After a selection process carried out in 2008, MP Aeronautics Engineering has been chosen as Preferred Engineering to cooperate with EADS-CASA on projects related to the Assembly Process and Installations Engineering, and also Support Engineering.

This selection increases MP workload to the point that it exceeds 120.000 working hours in 2009. The company also takes a step forward in strengthening its position as the reference point for engineering in its sector.

In addition, in order to consolidate this growth, partnerships have been signed with other engineering firms of the sector: Assystem, Tecaer and Elimco. The objective is to reinforce MP's position and provide services for all the projects managed by EADS-CASA:

• A400M
• A330 MRT
• C295 and CN235 with all its models for military transport and maritime patrol. It is worth mentioning the Lean Manufacturing works that are currently been carried out to improve the assembly process in development at the FAL of the mentioned models.

The commencement of engineering activities at EADS-CASA installations in Getafe (Madrid) is of note as it constitutes a milestone for MP as reference engineering concerning the Airbus A330 MRTT.
