The project of manufacturing and assembling gearboxes for our client Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF) began a year ago. It is currently running and about 200 units produced for the trams of Metro Centro Seville, Vitoria and Antalya (Turkey) have already been delivered. The 40 outstanding units to be produced for the completion of these trams will be delivered by the end of next April.

Our priority has been quality of assembly and, thanks to our outstanding work, to our continuing eagerness to improve and to the efforts made by all those who took part in this project, we have won our customer’s (CAF) appreciation. We have also been awarded the contract for the Edinburgh tram (Scotland), which consists of the manufacturing of 340 gearboxes. The assembly will start next May (2009) and the last deliveries are scheduled for completion by July 2010.
