The Andalusian Public Body for Infrastructure and Educational Services, ISE Andalucía, a body pertaining to the Andalusian Government's Department of Education, entrusted MP Sistemas with the design and installation of an Electronic Invoicing Platform. This platform was tasked with fulfilling two objectives: to comply with the regulations regarding Electronic Invoicing in Public Administration and to provide suppliers with fast and reliable tools for sending electronic invoices to the Public Body.

ISE Andalucía has to deal with a such considerable number of transactions that it produces hundreds of thousands of invoices every year.  Such quantities mean a heavy workload for the accounting department, for both its Central Services and for its Provincial Offices. The new system will give ISE Andalucía a much increased capacity for processing invoices received and for directing them to the persons responsible for approving them. In addition, the invoices can be automatically sent to the management system for accounting procedures and payment; suppliers will be properly informed of the entire process.

This solution puts ISE Andalucía into a favourable position within a context where the electronic invoice will soon be required by an array of Public Bodies.

The suggested solution will offer ISE Andalucía and its suppliers a number of advantages: cost reduction, more efficient collection and payment procedures, real-time invoice tracking, reduction of time management and invoice Accounting, etc. However, the most important aspect of the new solution is that it will put ISE Andalucía and its suppliers into a favourable position within a context where the electronic invoice will soon be required by an array of Public Bodies.

The platform has been designed to manage and save high volumes of invoices, using the standard criteria stated by the Tax Administration National Agency, concerning format (FACTURAe 3.1) and electronic signature (XadES).
