Calzados Asunción (Marypaz) is an established and respected enterprise in the Spanish footwear sector, with over 100 outlets distributed across the country.

Marypaz’s experience clearly demonstrates the high performance that VoIP communication systems such as Asterisk can offer. Due to the considerable number of establishments, Central Communication with outlets and communications among the Establishments themselves are extremely complex processes necessitating the use of an enormous amount of national phone numbers for the completion of daily tasks.

The implementation of the VoIP communication system allows for free intercommunication between all outlets.

Thanks to MP Sistemas’ cooperation, the VoIP implementation was carried out in two phases:

• In phase one, 30 extensions and the branch exchange of the central system were substituted for VoIP communication systems, installing Asterisk in their rack servers, 15 IP cordless telephones, 15 IP table telephones and one operator telephone.
• During the second phase, our technicians from Seville, Malaga, Cadiz, Madrid and the Canary Islands installed IP telephones in the outlets, where performance and quality evaluations proved the project a success.

Once the implementation is completed, the client has had a type of infrastructure allowing for fast and free internal communication with any outlet or individual. The client also has at his disposal all the extra facilities provided by such a high-quality branch exchange.
