The MIC2000 ERP+, an Economic and Financial Management software package, was successfully implemented in Aguas del Puerto de Santa María.

As an accompaniment to the implementation of theMIC2000 ERP+ application, an advanced model of analytical and budgetary Accounting has been developed. It shows, separately, fixed and variable charges and gives the option of creating a distribution of charges, proportional to the total budget for each month. By using this model, the Administration of Aguas del Puerto de Santa María is able to control the variation between the estimated charges and the real ones, which is highly important in the case of Public Enterprises where budgets are strict.

The new technology has been integrated into the current IBM ISeries AS/400 management system, periodically loading application billing data or any other operation data onto to the MIC2000 ERP+ application.
