Last October, a partnership between the Valentín de Madariaga-MP Foundation and MP Engineering and Industrial Services was signed. By this contract, the Foundation administers an occupational training course for trained and skilled workers to enable them to respond to the demands of MP Engineering and Industrial Services. This course devoted to engineers, called “Expert in Assembling Process and Lean Manufacturing”, was created by both entities.  In addition, this training specialization has been temporarily ratified by the Department of Employment.

Within the labour market, it has been proved that the companies of the sector demand specialization in order to improve their strategies of enterprise management. The companies of the sector have reported that currently the training level concerning this subject is inadequate and that training their personnel is too expensive.

It is worth highlighting the enthusiastic response of young engineers to the training session, since over 100 applications have already been submitted for 15 offered positions.
