SIES RENEWS ITS CERTIFICATION IN QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT.
After a considerable effort to adapt SIES’ Quality and Environmental Management System to its growing and varied activity, last September SIES fully passed the maintenance audit of its certificates, in compliance with UNE-EN ISO 9001:2000 and UNE-EN ISO 14001:2004 international regulations.

ADAPTING TO THE NEW QUALITY MANAGEMENT REGULATION: UNE-EN ISO 9001:2008.
Last 17th November 2008 the new quality management regulation was officially published: the UNE-EN ISO 9001:2008 regulation.
The new ISO regulation keeps the same structure and procedures as the version of 2000, and although introducing new requirements, it adds new explanations and makes easier the implementation and compatibility with the ISO 14001:2004 regulation. Enterprises will be given a period of 2 years, from the publication date, to adapt their Quality Management Systems to the new regulation.
Aware of these changes, both the Valentín de Madariaga-MP Foundation and SIES are working to adapt their Management Systems to the ISO 9001:2008 requirements, in compliance with our commitment to Continual Improvement and High-quality Management. |
